Founder and Managing Director Sheila S. Jordan launched www.workability.one in May 2021 after her oldest son expressed an interest in finding his first summer job. What is the best way to disclose a disability without endangering job prospects? she wondered.
The result is www.workability.one is an internet job board that connects inclusive employers like you with neurodiverse and disabled talent worldwide. Additionally, we are a disability employment services provider for the State of Oregon, where we offer Pre-Employment Training Services (Pre-ETS) and job placement programs through Vocational Rehabilitation.
Here’s how www.workability.one can support the disability employment process:
- Recruiters benefit from our Talent Source Subscription https://workability.one/talent/welcome which allows you to peruse our international database of neurodiverse and disabled job seekers. Highly qualified talent have filled out a profile and uploaded resumes subscribers can access and review.
- Job Seekers can create a Job Seeker profile and upload their resume, as well as search for jobs from around the world that may catch your interest. https://workability.one/seeker/signup
- We invite Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs), Youth Transition Program Specialists, and Life Skills teachers to assign clients and students to create a job seeker profile as part of their Pre-ETS or job placement training programs.https://workability.one/seeker/signup
