<DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG>Position Summary:</STRONG> Responsible for the layout, installation, repair and maintenance of various electrical telecommunication  systems that provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and safety.  Will be required to make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all electrical equipment, looking for potential trouble. Will clean, lubricate, replace and adjust equipment as conditions indicate. Work will include the complete installation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems and equipment used in the treatment of waste water and related ancillary systems.  Must be available for emergencies/job assignments on a 24-hour basis.</DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG> </STRONG></DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG>Education:</STRONG> High School Diploma, Vocational School Diploma or equivalency certificate, plus two (2) years of formal training in the Electrical Field including National Electric Code (NEC) code review classes.</DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"> </DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG>Requirements: </STRONG>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Must have an in-depth knowledge of electrical theory, including the layout, installation, maintenance and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment used in the treatment of wastewater. Must have the aptitude to learn, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems. Must have the ability to set up work tasks, as well as have an in-depth knowledge of electrical theory.</DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG> </STRONG></DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"><STRONG>Experience:  </STRONG></DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify">Low Voltage Electrician I – Minimum of nine (9) years of progressive experience in the electrical trade.</DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"> </DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify">Low Voltage Electrician II – Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in the electrical trade.</DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify"> </DIV><DIV style="text-align: justify">Low Voltage Electrician III – Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in the electrical trade.<BR/><P><STRONG><BR/>Physical Demands: </STRONG>Ability to perform the essential functions of the position as they relate to physical and mental requirements to ensure the health and safety of oneself, and others is maintained. Must qualify for an possess the ability to perform entry into Confined Spaces while wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as, but not limited to canister and dust masks as well as SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus).
