Core Responsibilities

  • Govern and maintain accounting and financial master data in SAP and Blackline.

  • Perform admin tasks in Blackline and support end users with more complex change requests.

  • Test and implement new processes and system functionalities.

  • Consistently adheres to company guidelines and policies.

  • Support improvement, standardization, automation, and maintenance of the end-to-end processes related to financial master data.

  • Building and strengthening basic stakeholder relations across areas and geographies including collaboration and culture including Financial Business Controllers, Treasury, CRBC, Tax, Group Reporting and General Ledger colleagues.

  • Participate in ERP transformation to SAP S/4HANA.

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 locations; Monterrey, Prague and Singapore.  
The General Ledger (GL) department interacts with great parts of the LEGO organisation and therefore holds an important role within the Business Service Operations (BSO) supporting the EMEA region.The new team of Financial Master Data will be responsible for maintaining some of key master data in our main system, as SAP and Blackline. Support collaborators from other BSO departments as well as from business.

The departmental focus is to:
 

Make sure we live our partner promise by ensuring high quality, stewardship and full compliance with the LEGO Groups current Accounting Policy and global processes.
Ensure timely, accurate and reliable transactional data recorded in general ledger and timely reconciliation of all accounts.
Support internal and external team members with insightful and value-adding financial analyses, recurring statements and reporting value.
The GL department supports The LEGO Group with consistent, high quality and customer oriented execution of GL processes and stakeholder management.
The Senior Specialist plays an important role in developing the best in class GL department within the BSO.

Do you have what it takes ?

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or other similar education.

  • Experience with the FI & CO modules in SAP and / or Blackline tool.

  • Strong written and spoken English.

  • Ability to independently resolve moderate to sophisticated problems and provide sparring and governance on master data related matters.

  • Preferably proven working experience in International accounting environment.
