The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a highly motivated, confident, and client-service oriented leader to be the Manager, Accommodations and Administration in the Corporate Services Branch.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Services this position will oversee all accommodations functions of the Ministry, including maintenance of the Ministry Strategic Accommodation Plan; foster relationships between external (SBP, SCIC, etc.) and internal clients; lead a team of individuals on HR processes and support services (CVA, Sasktel, security access); and support the implementation of the OH&S function of the MOA.
You will have knowledge of:
Ability to liaise with other agencies, staff, and other ministries, to obtain, exchange, coordinate or confirm information while maintaining confidentiality and staying within policies and procedures. Ability to independently assess, establish, adjust, and accurately complete multiple tasks while taking into consideration task complexity, frequent interruptions, deadlines, available resources, and multiple reporting relationships. Ability to listen, accurately comprehend and orally respond to inquiries from clients, other agencies, or the general public and/or relay information, directions or questions in person or over the phone in an accurate, clear, concise and courteous manner. Knowledge of policies and procedures related to the Accommodations process would be an asset but not required.

Have strong communication, problem solving and management skills to provide collaboration and leadership for internal and external clients with respect to all Ministry accommodations and human resource support needs. Plan, prioritize, and organize a large volume of tasks and projects with conflicting and changing priorities to meet strict deadlines. Instruct, coach, and encourage others to enhance their job performance and further develop their skill.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required in this position would be obtained through the completion of a post-secondary degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or an equivalency of experience and training demonstrated by a history of accomplishment in management.
