Customer Experience Coordinator (6 Months Contract)
Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.
We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.
Job Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Conduct outbound calls to international visitors who have registered to attend the exhibition. Provide them with detailed information about their visit, including schedules, travel tips, and accommodation options.
- Visitor Facilitation: Assist visitors in planning their trip to the exhibition, answering any questions they may have, and ensuring they have all the necessary information for a smooth visit.
- Promotion of Exhibition Application: Support the marketing team by promoting the exhibition's mobile application. Explain its features and benefits to visitors, encouraging them to download and use the app for a better exhibition experience.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with visitors. Update visitor information if needed and ensure all data is handled confidentially.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to ensure visitors have received all necessary information and address any additional queries or concerns they may have.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from visitors regarding their experience with the telemarketing process and the exhibition application. Provide insights and suggestions to the team for continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align telemarketing efforts with overall exhibition promotion strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous experience in telemarketing, customer service, or a similar role.
- Experience in the exhibition or events industry is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with international visitors.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other telemarketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
