Job Outline -
The candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating the brand's digital presence by managing website development with a strong emphasis on user experience and SEO, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly online interface. This role entails methodically enhancing the brand's online presence using Umbraco content management system (CMS) built on.NET. Simultaneously, the candidate will lead the social media strategy for ISB Executive Education and ISB Online, driving brand engagement through innovative content and data-driven insights. This role requires a blend of creative and analytical skills to enhance brand visibility, foster community engagement, and maintain a cohesive, impactful digital presence across all platforms.
- Scalable Website Management and Optimisation Lead scalable website development initiatives to ensure the digital infrastructure supports growth, with a strong emphasis on SEO strategies to enhance organic reach and visibility for both web and mobile
- Experience in Umbraco to build stable, scalable, and cost-effective web applications
- Oversee the authoring, testing, and implementation of website pages, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Prioritise and oversee the implementation of UX/UI enhancements based on user feedback, analytics, and best practices in design.
SEO Prioritisation
- Conduct regular website reviews to identify areas for SEO improvement, ensuring alignment with the latest SEO practices, including keyword research, content optimisation, and link-building strategies to improve search engine rankings
- Oversee the implementation of on-page SEO strategies, including optimising tags, ensuring fast page loading times, and improving the overall user experience to meet search engine guidelines and enhance organic search visibility
- Social Media Strategy and Planning Devise and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company's brand ethos, target audience, and business objectives
- Develop strategic plans to amplify compelling content and engage with the community to build a loyal following around the brand and improve performance metrics
- Foster a vibrant online community to cultivate brand loyalty and advocate customer engagement
- Plan and execute paid marketing/boosting of content for increase in followers/subscribers of all handles
- Live event support and digital streaming to enhance reach
Reputation Analysis, Reporting, and Enhancement
- Monitor the brand's online reputation, identifying both accolades and critiques
- Produce reports on social media performance, offering insights and strategic recommendations
- Formulate and apply strategies for reputation improvement and proactive crisis management
- Devise a Brand Playbook and an FAQ sheet for situations that may impact the brand and how to tackle them
Measurement Analytics and Performance Tracking
- Employ analytics tools to scrutinise social media effectiveness, discern audience behaviour, and gauge the success of strategies and campaigns (Meltwater, Google Analytics, SproutSocial, HubSpot etc)
- Incorporate measurement methods to evaluate the impact of content and campaigns, ensuring goals are achieved and findings are leveraged
- Automation and Efficiency Lead the automation of repetitive tasks and responses in digital marketing processes to improve efficiency and customer engagement
- Professional Development Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital marketing, including Google Analytics updates, automation tools, and UX/UI design innovations
- Pioneer the integration of new digital technologies and platforms, setting a standard for innovation within the industry
Team Management and Collaboration
Engage synergistically with marketing, sales, and programme teams for a unified and comprehensive social media approach
Job Specification
Knowledge / Education
- MBA/ PG Diploma in marketing/ communication or related disciplines
- Any Mar-tech certifications
Specific Skills
- 8+ years' experience in marketing tools and automation
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation capabilities to work across multiple projects/ tasks at a time
- Have a powerful process-driven working style to multitask
- Extensive experience of organic and paid social media campaigns
Desirable Experience
- 8+ years experience in content-led branding, communication and driving successful campaigns
- At least 3 years in social media marketing –Facebook, and Twitter
- A good understanding of the executive education/ EdTech space and web development skills would also be highly desirable.
