Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee government business procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the bidding process at Government e-Marketplace (GEM) and a strong track record of working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Acer, HP, Dell, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, and Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) vendors. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in handling large tenders and a proven ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for government business, ensuring compliance with regulations and procurement policies.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and identify procurement needs.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts.
- Manage relationships with OEMs and IFP vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contract terms.
- Oversee the bidding process on Government e-Marketplace (GEM) and ensure submissions are prepared accurately and in accordance with regulations.
- Analyze bids and proposals, evaluate vendor performance, and make recommendations for awarding contracts.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Monitor procurement activities and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.
- Provide guidance and support to procurement staff, ensuring they are trained in procurement processes and policies.
