Job role - Manager / Senior Manager, Litigation.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Manager - Litigation. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing legal matters, managing litigation processes, preparing legal documents, handling insurance claims, and providing expertise in law.
What will you do:
Litigation Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for managing litigation cases effectively, including case assessment, risk analysis, and litigation avoidance where possible.
Case Management: Oversee all aspects of litigation cases from inception to resolution, including coordinating with outside counsel, managing discovery processes, and ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and provide guidance on legal issues related to ongoing cases.
Budget Management: Develop and manage litigation budgets, including forecasting costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective management of litigation matters.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of litigation professionals, including lawyers, and support staff, to ensure high-quality work product and effective case management.
Communication: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on litigation matters, assess potential risks, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
Settlement Negotiation: Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the litigation process.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all litigation matters, including case files, correspondence, and legal research.
Cyber Crime litigation: Hands on experince in cyber crime, online trancation fraud, OTP fraud, loan fraud.
Experience: 5+ years of Professional Experience with a strong background in handling corporate litigations. Hands on experince in cyber crime.
Education: Holds Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited Law College
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively
Willing to travel 5-6 days a month (across India) to support legal cases
