Position Title: Associate Director - Finance US Shared Services

Job Description: This role will be responsible to Lead US Accounting Shared Services organization based in India and provide both strategic leadership and domain expertise resulting in growth of India based SSC org and support onshore stakeholders in key Controllership priorities along with managing day to day operational delivery and people-related aspects.
Key functional areas include-General ledger, Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Cash Accounting and Record-to-Report.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high performing US-facing accounting shared services function.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and ensure US GAAP-compliant accounting for both recurring and non-recurring transactions.
- Performance management of the function- develop & monitor KPIs and SLAs for all domains of US Accounting and use them for continuously improving the health of delivery.
- Identify areas of opportunity for shared service center and influence onshore stakeholders to convert opportunities into realizable/ actionable gains.
- Transitions management- plan and execute transition under a transition framework and stabilize the delivery to steady-state.
- Identify and prioritize areas of process improvement, own improvement projects from ideation to implementation stage.
- Devise and govern controls, process, policy and documentations. Standardize process, policies, controls and documentation with parent org.
- Effective onshore and offshore stakeholder management and collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Talent management- ensure effective team engagement and retention and development of hi-po talent and ensuring adequate succession planning for critical roles.
- Own the costs and generate value > cost for shared service org.
- Effective collaboration and partnering with US functional Leads to drive strategic initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- CPA/ Chartered Accountant with 13+ years of work experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting shared services and scaling up SSC operations.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Extensive experience working on any prominent ERP tool (preferably Oracle cloud).
- Strong Reporting skills and executive presence.
- Expert in excel and Power BI tools.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Critical thinker.
- Hands-on Problem solver.
Preferred Skillset:
- Minimum in. 7+ years in leadership role managing end to end delivery
