Solutions Architect – HubSpot
What the role is all about:
As a Solutions Architect - HubSpot you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining HubSpot CRM, custom objects, workflows, and automations in a collaborative team. You will be expected to design & architect solutions within HubSpot, collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications and implement solutions effectively. You will follow agile software development practices such as test-driven development and continuous delivery. You will also use your skills and experience to coach junior team members.
While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:
- Lead and oversee the implementation of HubSpot CRM, custom objects, workflows, and automations to meet business requirements.
- Design and architect solutions within HubSpot to achieve feature parity across various platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications and systems to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
- Configure and optimize HubSpot features such as custom objects, forecasting tools, and admin-related functionalities.
- Create and manage complex workflows and automations within HubSpot to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams on HubSpot best practices and implementation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards while configuring and maintaining HubSpot CRM solutions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize HubSpot performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for scalability and reliability.
- Stay updated with HubSpot platform updates, new features, and industry trends to leverage them in enhancing our CRM solutions
Who we’re looking for:
- 7-10 years of experience in implementing and administering HubSpot CRM, using HubSpot CMS Hub, and with a strong focus on custom objects, workflows, and automations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- HubSpot certification (e.g., HubSpot Certified Administrator) is required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and or Node.js for customization and integration purposes.
- Strong solution design and architecture skills, with the ability to design scalable and efficient CRM solutions.
- Experience in designing and implementing feature parity across different platforms and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective CRM solutions that meet business needs.
- Knowledge of cost management, and the various functionalities and limitations within HubSpot across Professional and Enterprise platform platforms and other add-ons
- Experience in integrating third-party applications and APIs with HubSpot CRM.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and practices.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role focusing on CRM implementations and administration.
- Contributions to the HubSpot community or a strong portfolio of CRM implementations and customizations is highly desirable.
