Responsibilities:
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the energy or battery industry, with a deep understanding of Li-ion battery technology and its applications. This role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and regions.
Client Acquisition and Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Product Knowledge and Presentation:
- Develop a thorough understanding of Li-ion battery products and technologies.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
Market Analysis:
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and market positioning.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.
- Manage sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements and contracts.
- Close sales deals and manage the order fulfilment process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and its products.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor is degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in energy storage technology are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the Li-ion battery industry or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Li-ion battery technology, applications, and market trends.
- Skills:
- Proven record of accomplishment of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic sales plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
