About the role – Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months
Parodontax is one of Haleon’s fastest growing power brands, helping to serve the needs of people with gum problems across the world. With even faster growth expected for Parodontax over the next 3 years, innovation has a key role to play in the creation of new claims, propositions and opportunities to attract new users and deliver them in a more sustainable manner. As a result of this, we are looking to grow our team on a temporary basis to help us deliver our ambitious goals.
We are looking for someone who can supplement our team of bright and agile global marketers to support the development of our superior innovation pipeline over the next 5 years to drive brand growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain immediate experience on an exciting, fast moving global Oral Health brand.
Key responsibilities
- With support of the Global Marketing Director, ideate & build winning product concepts that connect strong insight with relevant & compelling product, pack and claims to unlock consumer trial.
- Along with our Insights expert, evaluate market data and insights to identify opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional project teams as Project Accountable Lead, through the internal governance process to launch in market. This will include both short-term (2024/5 project delivery) and longer term pipeline projects, often managing multiple projects at once.
- Work closely with R&D, medical, regulatory and other technical functions to identify appropriate technology/formulations to deliver innovation concepts, build compelling science stories & visualisations and develop winning claims. Manage key stakeholders through claims development and approval process including IR.
- Work closely with the Gum Health Design Director to create winning design and experience for our new products.
- Partner lead markets to refine knowledge and concept propositions to maximise value.
- Work with Finance to develop strong business cases for each innovation and maximise the financial metrics of our innovation pipeline to deliver against targets.
- Partner with comms & expert team to develop gold class launch toolkits including the full suite of consumer, shopper and experts assets.
- Monitor new competitor products & claims and assess for learnings or implications.
- Track performance of innovation launches against targets; identify & address performance issues promptly; and share out learnings.
Qualifications and skills
- Demonstrable experience working within a Marketing team, ideally in a similar role.
- Comfortable working with data and insight to identify and craft insights.
- Experience working with cross functional teams to unite technical and commercial collaborators.
- Demonstrated ability to work with partners to achieve compelling product stories and claims.
- Confident project leader, able to manage complexity and sometimes conflicting needs of a multi-functional team.
- Inspiring speaker, someone able to sell a vision to excite and align others.
- Experience managing projects through stage-gate and associated processes.
