Part of the Stonewater Group, Mount Green Housing Association meets people’s housing needs across Surrey and North Sussex through the delivery of a local service to its residents.
Here at Mount Green, we are now seeking a Communications Coordinator to deliver our day-to-day marketing and communications across multiple platforms, both on and offline.
You will also manage and monitor the SharePoint intranet, to liaise with team members to ensure it’s up to date and is being fully used as an internal communications channel. This includes the coordination and creation of content (written and digital), day to day updates, and basic design edits as well as evolving it as a multi-owned content platform.
You’ll champion the Mount Green brand and be the ears and eyes on its correct application and usage and ensure team members have the knowledge, templates and tools to use the brand and associated assets correctly. You’ll develop brand compliant templates across multiple platforms and programmes for team communications and develop, manage and monitor the suite of resident-facing communication materials on and for all channels as well as develop and coordinate any content required for use on our social media channels.
To provide comprehensive and proactive support that fosters effective internal and external communications (on and offline) so that teams and individuals across Mount Green deliver a great service to residents. This role focuses on coordinating and delivering on the daily tasks associated with our communication channels and key audiences and will involve working effectively with others across Mount Green as well as some key external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to Diploma (Level 3) or equivalent.
- Have experience working in a role that encompasses marketing and/or communications.
- Have good working knowledge of websites (ideally WordPress) and social media channels (content and posting).
- Have knowledge and demonstrable experience of using Canva (or equivalent).
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to foster effective relationships, internally and externally.
- Have strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office suite and good understanding of communication systems.
- Be able to use initiative, problem solve and respond proactively to issues and concerns.
- Have experience of a SharePoint Intranet (desirable)
- Have experience of Social Housing (desirable)
