The Senior Manager of Operations for Mid Back-Office (MBO) will lead the MBO team to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-quality support services across regions. This role demands a strategic leader to manage complex operations, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include centralizing MBO processes to ensure consistency and align with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management:
- Lead and mentor the MBO team, ensuring objectives and staff development are prioritized.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Establish and review performance metrics to achieve targets.
- Conduct regular meetings and track team performance for profit growth.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily MBO operations to ensure efficient execution.
- Centralize MBO processes for consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and customer service teams to improve operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Process Improvement & Automation:
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
- Collaborate with IT to leverage technology for process optimization.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for regional and global stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and build strong relationships to align operational goals.
Project Management:
- Lead key projects to enhance MBO operations, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls for business continuity.
- Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of operations management experience, particularly in back-office functions.
- Proven leadership in managing large teams with a focus on process improvement and automation.
- Strong understanding of finance, compliance, and customer service.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and process automation tools is a plus.
