Purpose of Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our Franchise business expansion, operations and business activities across India. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our pan India team, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence across the functions.Enabling all DGM’s to execute on ground infra partner acquisition with respective city managers & their respective ground team members.
Experience & Qualification
15+ years of Overall experience in BD, direct sales, business expansion. Start-up background, EV or EV infrastructure business will add value with Full time MBA or equivalent degree.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Formulating and implementing the company's strategic plan for each region.
- Provide leadership and direction to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess operational performance.
- Lead and manage a team of DGM’s ,City heads and ground team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence across India.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth & acquisition targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the region.
- Optimize resource allocation and control costs to achieve financial objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager and senior management team.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Role Specific Skills/Competencies
- Proven work experience in business & must be from startup background, ideally in infrastructure development or renewable energy sectors experience along with direct sales experience will add value.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and business environment in North,East & South,West India.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with a strategic mindset.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of EV technology, swap infrastructure, and energy management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with local government processes, regulatory frameworks, and environmental policies related to transportation and energy.
