Lead, IT – Cloud Operations/ Finops
The successful applicant for this position will be expected to leverage a proven track record and operational experience to provide technical support services and lead Finops practice to Kraft Heinz as part of a global team focused on developing best-in-class Cloud solutions. The candidate will oversee the operations and support of global Cloud services for Kraft Heinz including, but not limited to; deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all Cloud processes and systems ( Primarily Microsoft Azure). The position requires someone who can effectively manage multiple high priority tasks or escalations simultaneously.
Operations
- Manages the Cloud processes and systems while ensuring SLA adherence across a multi-vendor platform while also achieving challenging efficiency goals
- Identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and ensuring Cloud environment is highly available for end users at all times.
- Manages changes and requisite approval process
- Recommends appropriate courses of action to managed service partners and management on technical and infrastructure issues
- Ensure compliance with established internal processes and procedures; Apply patches and upgrades for systems, develop and follow change management, perform backups, and administer and implement security processes and procedures.
Strategy
- Proactively assists in defining direction for future technology, infrastructure, or architecture projects
- Delivery of continuous improvement to the “services” provided to the businesses
- Works with all IT teams to ensure to configure and support solutions that ensure delivery of the various Cloud technologies at an enterprise level.
- Maintains the Cloud operations playbook
Financials
- Manage financial spend for the Cloud environment.
- Work with PPM team to set budget, forecast and chargeback for Cloud spend
- Build and maintain a FinOps practice end to end and socialize in organization
- Recommends proactive courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
HR/Admin
- Documents and maintain technical resources including policies, procedures, and systems architecture.
- Mentors and delegates to Cloud operations contractors and partners
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of data communication systems including hardware, software, and applications
- Experience in setting up FinOps practice and hands on with implementation of it.
- Knowledge of FinOps tools and processes.
- Proficiency with design, implementation, and support of Cloud based solution
- Experience working with managed service partners
- Project planning and management skills, including ability to identify and assess risk
- Must have good verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field
- 10+ years of experience in an Operational role
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud and FinOps
- 2+ years as a lead or management role
- Extensive experience with managing outsourced service models
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
