Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of HR with expertise in industry-specific recruitment for the construction and energy sectors. This role will primarily focus on designing and implementing recruitment strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of our expanding business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UK employment market , especially within the insulation, construction, and energy efficiency sectors .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, from operational staff to senior leadership positions, with a focus on niche roles in insulation, energy efficiency, and construction.
- Develop and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts top talent in the insulation and retrofitting industries.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with industry-specific recruitment partners, professional networks, and educational institutions to create a talent pipeline .
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations, including diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to anticipate workforce needs and drive recruitment plans that align with company growth.
- Utilize HR data analytics to measure recruitment success and continually optimize talent acquisition strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to attract highly skilled candidates.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition in UK market.
- Proven track record of leading recruitment efforts for technical roles, including construction managers, project managers, and specialists.
- Thorough understanding of UK employment laws and recruitment regulations.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific recruitment channels , including job boards, networking groups, and recruitment agencies.
- Experience with recruitment marketing , employer branding, and employee value proposition (EVP) development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills , with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Familiarity with HR software .
Preferred Skills :
- CIPD certification or equivalent in Human Resources.
- Experience in scaling recruitment in high-growth environments.

Pay : £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
