We are seeking a dedicated and innovative ServiceNow Developer to oversee the maintenance and development of our ServiceNow platform. This critical role will support our service management processes, including Incident, Change, Problem and Request management, as well as several back-office, non-publishing catalogues and workflows.
You will be instrumental in advancing current developments within the CMDB module and leading multiple integrations with other business services, all aimed at maximising the value and efficiency of our platform.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, testing and debugging of cutting-edge ServiceNow applications.
- Ensure top-notch performance, quality and responsiveness across all applications.
- Collaborate with dynamic cross-functional teams to define, design and roll out innovative new features.
- Spot opportunities for enhancement and automation, working with key stakeholders to boost value while controlling costs.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial analysis to final support, ensuring seamless transitions through development, quality assurance, and production environments.
- Configure and optimise workflows, catalogue items, reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
- Stay ahead of the curve by integrating ServiceNow with other software applications using REST, SOAP, and the latest APIs.
- Provide expert technical guidance and training, developing comprehensive documentation and ensuring data integrity and security across the platform.
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience working on and developing the latest ServiceNow platform.
- Significant experience of integrating ServiceNow with multiple other systems including MS Teams, JIRA and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Integration Hub and how flow designer can be utilised to maximise value and efficiency.
- Relevant experience of the CMDB structure within ServiceNow, aligning to the CSDM framework.
- Experience of implementing service discovery, using multiple sources, and amalgamating the data into a comprehensive and useable CI database.
- An ability to work in an agile way to ensure that enhancements and developments are carried out in a timely fashion, maximising value whilst avoiding additional cost.
- The ability to successfully work and communicate with a range of stakeholders across our Technology division and our various business functions.
- Knowledge of other toolsets such as JIRA and SNOW Licence manager MS Tool stack.
