Our client is a start-up, creating a better future with its service offering. Private Equity backed and an ongoing success story. The business has grown, and the opportunity ahead is vast. Reporting to the CEO, they are now looking for a Head of People, who can enable growth and build on the strategy of creating an innovative place to work. The business has a track record of organic growth. An ambitious start-up, with a remote employee base, spread across multiple sites, with ambitions to grow organically. The role of Head of People will be a critical enabler to deliver the next three years’ business and HR strategy with an individual who can deliver people solutions for future challenges, as the business and culture continue to evolve. You will develop and lead the day-to-day HR Operations of the People plan, to attract, retain, and develop their people, whilst affecting positive, meaningful change. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, developing an employee experience that builds further a diverse and inclusive culture.
This role is a senior generalist HR role, developing an engaging culture with accountability for attracting and selecting high-quality, diverse candidates, whilst leading on change management programmes and projects within the UK. This is an opportunity to utilise technical HR expertise, managing employee relations and talent management with commercial insight, new ideas, and innovation to deliver a strategically focused people plan. You will play a key role in the design and development of organisation design and succession planning. You will focus on all aspects of Talent Acquisition, including Diversity & Inclusion and showcasing their Employer Brand. In this role, you will be responsible for not only the strategic delivery but also operational excellence in all areas of Resourcing, Reward, People Data, OD, and People Development to enable continued growth.
To be considered for this highly visible and critical role, you will be a CIPD qualified, Head of HR or Senior HR Business Partner, with a proven track record of success and leadership in start-ups and growth businesses working with Senior Leaders. Comfortable challenging conventional thinking, this is an opportunity to utilise your experience of leading and developing an HR strategy and small HR team in an operational environment.
