We are looking to hire an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to help drive the growth of the Menopause Category within MANUAL.
This is a new category and one which we’re incredibly excited about. Our Menopause category operates under the brand Menopause Care - led by the founder Dr Naomi Potter. Dr Potter has built a strong organic brand which we want to develop and capitalise on. A successful person in this role will expand our organic reach in Menopause and deliver a sustainable growth engine for menopause.
This role will report into our Head Of Growth, who is based in London and works in person 3-5 days per week. You will have all the resources and coaching necessary to succeed at MANUAL, allowing you to experience significant personal growth in order to accelerate your career. We believe this role is particularly exciting for someone who is very creative, and wants to build new channels from 0-1.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment and join a passionate, driven and fun team. Here, you will have the opportunity to manage big budgets and to use your own initiative to follow up on the growth ideas that you have in order to hit the targets that have been set.
We’re looking for someone who has a laser focus on getting stuff done and prioritising. There’s going to be a lot of stuff we could try in Menopause - this role will define where we focus our growth resources. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and define the experimentation roadmap for growth in the category, this could include (but is not limited to):
- Testing community building
- Developing content across multiple channels
- Driving marketing to specific clinic locations
- Developing a WOM / referral strategy
- Influencer marketing
- Take ownership of performance within your projects and campaigns, analysing data, exploring new opportunities, implementing tests and making ongoing optimisations.
- Own the delivery of an ambitious content plan from a Growth perspective, to improve SEO for Menopause Care.
- Ideate test hypothesis within the channels that you participate in - landing pages, creative, ad copy, bid strategies, pricing etc.
- Ideate and create performance creative briefs for paid social channels.
- Test and own new channels that we don’t currently invest in.
- Forecast spend and acquisition volume within your areas of responsibility.
- Manage budgets to drive maximum returns for the business, in line with target KPIs.
- Stay up to date with updates to advertising platforms and industry trends, sharing your learnings with the wider team.
- Build, manage and execute tests from performance roadmaps.
- Collaborate with the rest of the UK, the category manager, the product manager and the Menopause Care team to understand our customer's needs & behaviours.
- Build relationships with external vendors (e.g. Google, Meta, Podcast, TikTok etc.) to understand best practice, new features and campaign improvement opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years experience working in digital marketing with strong experience within one of organic marketing, content marketing or community building.
- Understands a wide variety of digital marketing channels and how they all fit into the overall marketing mix e.g. SEO, performance, content etc.
- Ideally has experience of marketing to a demographic over the age of 40; within women’s health; or experience in menopause.
- Strong attention to detail, you don’t cut corners and take pride and care in your work.
- You are highly motivated to get stuff done and try new things.
- You respect the growth processes we have, but will always push to make progress, improve things and meet deadlines.
- You are humble - understand that we will fail and make mistakes but that is part of the process of learning.
- You are curious and empathetic - you will need to deeply understand the complex customer needs within menopause.
- You are a highly effective communicator, with significant experience managing senior stakeholders.
- You’re a team player who enjoys working as part of a team.
- You are analytical and use data to drive insights and action.
- You are a self-starter who can take the initiative, lead a project and proactively look to solve problems.
- You’re ambitious, keen to learn and ready to grow alongside a rapidly expanding business.
- You have hands-on experience across a variety of digital marketing channels is a bonus.
- Experience working in a start-up or within a health-tech.
