Reporting and Communications Manager - P3O, London, Hybrid, Permanent
The Reporting and Communications Manager will provide Pay.UK wide reporting regarding Change investment, delivery and benefit realisation, providing quality reports to Board, Executive and Change Committees.
They will have additional responsibility for external facing reports including to Pay.UK regulators, customers, and industry groups (SPG, CEF).
They will work collaboratively with wider Change team and wider Pay.UK business areas to design and produce reporting and communications solutions that meet requirements and provide continuous improvement.
They will be the conduit between Change and Corporate Governance & Regulatory / Customer Engagement teams and Executive Sponsors.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for delivering consistent portfolio, programme and project reporting from a multi data sources (with Change source being Planview) and applying judgement and skill to weave together for different audiences e.g. Board and Executive Committees and external stakeholders including customers and regulators.
- Designs and embeds reporting and MI at all (P3O) levels aligned to corporate processes, tools and governance.
- Coaching and mentoring of Change resources across teams and wider business in the delivery of effective reporting standards.
- Oversees all Change Communications including internal Change Directorate communications, Company-wide and to external audiences working with the Communications team.
- Supports the Strategy Team and QBR business planning process with relevant Change reporting and data inputs.
- Responsible for the development and on-going management of the Change communications plan.
- Develops the communications framework for application to all key programmes and projects, establishing a consistent approach.
- Works collaboratively with communications and stakeholder engagement teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Frequent liaison with Corporate MI team/ Data teams in the two-way exchange of data, to support effective MI reporting through continuous improvement.
- Liaise with Regulatory Engagement team ensuring Change information is communicated to regulators and customers through an integrated plan.
- Champions Change Framework and promotes / enforces adoption and adherence.
- Provides advice and guidance on the tailoring of reporting at programme and project levels to ensure consistent approaches.
- Work collaboratively and cohesively with other PMO services / service owners to ensure a joined up and robust service offering.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience of designing, embedding and leading Change Reporting activities on a portfolio of significant scale and complexity.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience at all levels of an organisation up to Executive level.
- Knowledge and experience of financial services or payments sector is desirable.
- Understanding of Pay.UK regulatory requirements.
- Ability to write and present Executive and Board level reports.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, understanding the issues senior leaders face to ensure effective business led decisions.
- Effective planning and coordination skills and the ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to secure engagement and buy in for strategies and initiatives.
- Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing work environments.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and translate data insights into business issues and drive evidence-based decision making.
- Resilience and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
