Purpose of the role
The Campaign Manager is the linchpin of all aspects of the agency/client relationship. Working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the efficient and effective running of their accounts. They will build a clear understanding of their clients’ objectives and requirements, at a business and project level, helping to build and maintain long-lasting relationships. The Campaign Manager helps deliver the highest standard of work for clients, translating creative thinking into decisive action, prioritising and actioning tasks, and bringing the rest of the team on the journey. They should demonstrate ownership of tasks, provide proactive input to help grow key accounts and help manage operations – from finance, to timelines, to team bookings.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a consultative relationship with the client, acting as the key contact for all marketing services, defining deadlines and service agreements whilst ensuring these are met consistently by the team
- Works closely with the client to regularly review account performance, identifying and communicating opportunities for additional services, across all activation channels
- Drives the team to develop compelling and impactful content and campaigns for clients
- Work with strategy and account leads to define campaign propositions and activation plans
- Works with the client and wider TEAM LEWIS team to ensure effective budget management
- Plays an integral role in the new business process, helping to generate content and presentation preparation, in addition to attendance at pitches
- Measures client growth and impact across the full spectrum of marketing channels
- Communicates account performance internally, reports and provides strategic advice to the client based on measurable analytics
- Uses analytical tools and services to generate insight, fuel conversation and optimise activities
- Assist with the management of junior staff across multiple accounts and support their development
- Stays up to date on best practices and current market trends
- Contributes and supports the continuous improvement of systems, practices and policies
About you
- You will be an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Campaign Manager (or Senior Campaign Executive looking for a step up) from a Marketing/Integrated background, preferably with both B2C and B2B knowledge.
- You will have a history of developing a strong understanding of clients’ business needs, opportunities and requirements.
- You will ideally have experience with running integrated marketing accounts and branding projects.
- Social media and content marketing experience will be beneficial.
- Impeccable attention to detail, project management and communication skills both written and verbal are also necessities to this role.
