Sales Director - Real Estate Consultancy

The Sales Director will play a leading role in developing and executing New Business strategy to drive the commercial growth of Bellrock’s Consulting business through building strategic relationships with target clients and developing high quality, commercially viable solutions that are successful in winning new business.
The role will lead sales, bidding teams, and pricing teams, combining proactive sales methodologies, such as relationship building and prospecting, with reactive opportunity management through the completion of tenders and portal opportunities. It requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership, and a deep understanding of the professional consultancy industry.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive consulting sales strategy aligned to achieving Bellrock’s commercial goals and objectives.
- Lead, manage and develop the sales team, providing clear direction, coaching, personal development and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment that encourages innovation and goal attainment.
Revenue Generation
- Take ownership of the entire sales and bidding cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Identify and expand our current service lines into our existing customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the consultancy sector, expanding the client base in target sectors and increasing revenue streams.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, forecasting accurately and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets, as well as team performance.
Market Understanding
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, technology use and competitors' activities to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
- Utilise market insights to identify emerging opportunities and potential niches for growth.
Client Relationships
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with clients to tailor solutions that align with their specific requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing and Communications, and Finance, to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with senior colleagues providing regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Build value propositions with our in-house technology brand (Concerto) and consultancies within the group.
Sales Process Enhancement
- Continuously assess and refine the sales and bidding process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
- Implement best practices and leverage technological tools to streamline sales and bidding operations.

What does it take?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA desirable).
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership within the facilities management industry.
- Proficiency in using Hubspot CRM software (or similar) and other sales-related tools.
Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the London Paddington office but able to travel to our Leicester head office two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
