Job Title: Senior Vertical Sales Lead UK

Role Purpose
Sales accountability for Vodafone's strategic utility IoT business in the UK. To continue Vodafone's role as the global Utility leader for IoT, realise profitable growth and increase the market share.
What you'll do
- Managing the Internet of Things strategic utility sales vertical customers to ensure targets are met and individual customers perform.
- Accountable for developing major complex deals and delivering critical steps in the sales process, ensuring a high win-rate and growing a trustful and long-term business relationship with our customers.
- Presenting Vodafone IoT in customer meetings, at external and internal events with clear thought leadership skills.
- Driving and introducing managed connectivity sales campaigns for dedicated propositions.
- Managing stakeholders on different management levels across the matrix organisation, both with the local and the international Group organisation, to address customer requirements for products and services.
- Influence and lead future roadmap planning through supporting engagement of VF teams, drive process improvements for complex deals or customer experience enhancements with the objective of enabling growth of IoT within the base and channel.
Who you are
- Extensive history of successfully achieving sales targets in a B2B technology environment (>> 5 years)
- Deep knowledge of the IoT market and strong relationships in the Utility sector
- Experience in creating Acquisition opportunities and intimate knowledge of stakeholder/buying centre management.
- Advanced level of knowledge in IoT products, services, and solutions with particular focus on Logistics, Manufacturing, Production.
- Grow, protect and expand business revenues within base of accounts.
Beneficial qualifications:
- BA / BSc degree (BWL / Dipl. Ing.) or similar qualifications
- Extensive history of successful sales in a B2B telecoms/IT environment (>> 5 years)
- Proven record in corporate / multinational corporate B2B business
- Comfortable in negotiations up to C level
- Excellent English language skills
- Passion for customers growth and relationships.
- Consultative Selling/Business Consulting experience
