Main Purpose of Job
As a Concept Chef at Nestle, you will be at the forefront of culinary innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop imaginative concepts that redefine food experiences. From anticipating emerging trends to crafting precise recipes, your role encompasses driving concept development while adhering to brand standards. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for culinary exploration, you will infuse fresh perspectives into our product offerings, all while maintaining efficient inventory management and collaborating seamlessly with Brand Teams. Key Outputs
A. Concept Development and Innovation:
- Collaborate with the innovation team to develop group-wide concepts spanning various product categories.
- Review briefs and create innovative solutions to elevate product offerings within each category.
- Drive concept development while adhering to brand standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate with Brand Teams to brainstorm, develop, and rapidly prototype new ideas, while efficiently integrating feedback.
B. Trend Analysis and Culinary Expertise:
- Anticipate and identify emerging trends in the culinary landscape, providing strategic insights for the business.
- Develop and expand expertise in Indian regional and international cuisines, crafting precise and authentic recipes.
- Infuse innovation into culinary offerings through comprehensive industry knowledge, delivering fresh menus, recipes, and concepts promptly for high-profile events.
C. Operations and Maintenance:
- Maintain and update inventory records for all materials and oversee kitchen equipment maintenance.
Key Experiences:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Chef de Cuisine, Junior Sous Chef, or Sous Chef.
- Expertise in Asian cuisine.
