Job Summary:
HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a physician assistant to join a well-established orthopedic trauma surgeon in Conroe.
Qualified candidates: - APP with orthopedic surgery experience preferred.
- Open to new grads
- Certification as a PA
- Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license
- Must have strong orthopedic experience or passion for orthopedic surgery.
Responsibilities: - Typical schedule is 7 days on/7 days off
- 12 hour shifts from 7am-7pm
- Assist in the Operating Room with procedures, positioning, and closures
- Assist in clinical setting with patient issues and prescriptions
- Evaluate independent Orthopedic Consults in Emergency Department
- Pre-op and Post-op orders
- Schedule surgical cases
