Job Details: - Setting: Remote
- Start date: As soon credentialing is complete
- Patient demographic: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
- Preference will be given to providers who are passionate about patient care. Provider can expect to work with academic centers and universities. The opportunity to work in adjunct position will be available after 1 year.
- The Remote Provider interprets and supervises neurophysiological data via telemedicine connection.

Essential duties and responsibilities:- Provide remote monitoring coverage to their assigned panel of cases.
- Provide quality assurance for each case, which includes assuring that the on-site neuromonitorist is monitoring and documenting according to protocol. Report major deviations from protocol to the Clinical Operations Director.
- Aid in identifying technical problems from waveform data and recommend
troubleshooting techniques
- Observe the data for any deviations in quality, changes, or technical problems and report in a timely manner. Assist the neuromonitorist with the confirmation of remarkable data changes.
- Monitor vigilantly for sudden and gradually evolving data changes, and appropriately respond during critical events. The case should be treated as though the RP is the onsite supervisor physically present in the room.
- Initiate contact with the assigned clinical supervisors to obtain assistance with unusual technical problems, such as equipment failures, problems that defy solution in a timely fashion, inability to achieve monitorable baseline data, data that is inconsistent with patient history or preoperative neurologic status, or to discuss any unusual circumstances that require special monitoring considerations.
- Maintain responsibility for remote supervision of the case until it is complete or properly
transferred to another supervisor.
- Be available to respond to chat communications from neuromonitorists at all times during the case, unless indicating that you are not available for very short period of time during non-critical events.
- Communicate with IT to help resolve remote monitoring network problems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- The Remote Provider is responsible for the overall quality, interpretation, and timely reporting of the case
Language Skills:- Ability to read, analyze and interpret all surgical cases. Ability to respond quickly to waveform changes and technical issues. Ability to communicate with the surgeon and neuromonitorist affectively.
Mathematical Skills:- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and clinical variables.
Other skills ad abilities:- Ability to set priorities, communicate well with colleagues, and have knowledge and maintain compliance of applicable accreditation quality standards including quality processes and methodologies.

- Fellowship in Neurophysiology
- Willing to license all state
