1. Manage his/her market in all categories. Ex. Sales, Execution in mkt, Distribution, Employees, Employees hours, PTO time, Holidays, Maintain the elements of CMA programs that has been agreed upon by the customer and Clark Beverage Group.
2. Responsible for selling over top of Salesmen and communicating with store Management about ongoing and upcoming promotions. Selling in incremental displays, coolers and racks.
3. Responsible for taking the tools handed down from Upper Management and filtering down to his/hers sales team and seeing that the job is executed the way the company ask.
4. Working with new employees and current employees in his/her groups to make sure their team understands what the company is asking them to do and showing them the correct way on how to do it.
5. Reporting any and all problems they are having to upper Management to help get any problems with employees or customers resolved.
6. Maintain excellent service and accountability to all customers to keep a strong relationship between them and the company.
7. Push daily to accomplish companys goals and sales to move the company forward.8. Be a great example to all employees and must be a positive role model the employee and customer respects.
9. The Area Managers job is to see that his/her market grows in sales and execution the correct POS (Point of Sale) in the market. Their market must be kept free from out of code product and all product must be rotated upon every delivery to keep fresh product to the customers.
10. Area Managers must be responsible for the members in their groups payroll. All hourly employees must be kept at 50 hours per week or lower. All Driver's must be monitored also to stay in compliance with DOT laws.
11. Area Manager's must keep their groups time cards correct and see that they are turned in correctly each week to HR so the employee receives their wages they have earned.
12. An Area Manager is responsible for their entire market and every customer and employee in their market or under their guidance. They must teach their employees on what the company needs done correctly and the safest and most efficient way. Answering any questions the customer or employee may have.
13. An Area Manager must be able to perform the job duties that he/she is asking their employees to perform. Examples: Bending, standing, squatting, crouching, or maybe even be able to lay on floors, continuous walking for long periods of time, lifting 40 pounds or more from ground level to above their head continuously. Must have mobility to work in a fast but controllable pace, must be able to comprehend the sales computers and ordering/ delivery devices and have enough knowledge of them both to be able to train and teach their employees how the proper way to use them, must be able to hear and talk to their employees and customers to follow through with what needs to be done, must have good enough vision to read fine print on invoices and in the sales and delivery devices, must be physically able to do any job the company is asking all employees to do.
14. Must be accountable for what goes on in their market in all ways. All Area Managers must be able to adjust to whatever change that may happens in the company and be a positive role model to pass along to his group of employees.
