We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Shop Foreman to lead our service team. The Diesel Shop Foreman will oversee all aspects of diesel repair and maintenance operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diesel truck repair, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Diesel Shop Foreman Duties:- Perform test drives to verify customer concerns are resolved.
- Perform Quality Inspections on completed truck/equipment.
- Opening & closing repair orders
- Perform minor repairs and DOT inspections as needed.
- Assist technician/mechanic(s) as needed with repairs, lending a hand or guidance as needed.
- Positively teach, train and mentor technician/mechanic(s)
- Assist Service office in making sure everyone is on a job and next assignment is ready.
- Updating customers and seeking approvals as needed
- Updating software programs such as Uptime Pro with updated information
- General Shop Duties, ordering and putting shop supplies away as needed.
- Delegating duties to technician/mechanic(s) when we have no customer repairs to complete.
- Learning Service Advisor role for times when shorthanded in office.
- Willing to work a rotational on call schedule.
Diesel Shop Foreman Requirements:- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Must have your own set of general tools.
- Strong knowledge of computers for diagnosis and repair order systems
- Technical degree or certification a plus
- Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
- Diesel engine certification-engine overhaul and diagnostics a must
- CDL preferred but not required.
