Qualifications
- Tseeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling insurance defense litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to represent clients in a range of matters, including personal injury, property damage, and coverage disputes
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in state and in good standing
- Strong knowledge of state's civil litigation procedures and insurance defense law
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Develop and implement case strategies
- Advise and communicate with clients on case status, legal issues, and potential risks
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
