$65.00 - $88.50 per hour based on experience and benefits package chosen
Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
GeoLogics is seeking highly qualified, Sr. Software Engineer to develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications.
Qualifications Required
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Preferred BA/BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with emphasis in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and a minimum of 5+ years of software engineering experience a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Experience collaborating with data and subject matter experts from AI and its customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use data and business insights
- Experience training, validate and deploy machine learning pipelines
- Experience testing, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
- Experience identifying application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Experience writing application specifications, tutorials and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields
- Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised
- learning)
- Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
- Proficiency in time-series data analysis, cleansing, and normalization
- Experience with scalable Machine Learning (MapReduce, streaming)
- Software development experience with JavaScript and Python
- Experience with Git or other version control software
- Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team
- Smart, motivated, can do attitude, and seeks to make a difference
- Excellent verbal and written communication
