The Individual & Family Therapist is responsible for providing the clinical treatment for all youth within the program(s) to which they are assigned.
The therapist shows dedication and willingness to work alongside the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) team, supporting and carrying out the functions of the model to best serve the population. They are expected to have a nonjudgmental approach that focuses on skill building and basic principles of behavior (reinforcement, extinction, blocking and shaping). They are required to function as part of a team, committing to modeling pro social behavior and building positive relationships with all residents.
Position Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Mental Health field. LCSW (preferred) or LMSW/licensed master’s mental health professional (MHC, MFT). One (1) year documented relevant job or internship experience preferred.
Ability to function successfully on interdisciplinary treatment team. Driver’s license. Excellent written and verbal skills including ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
