<p>Overview:</p><p>If it is your passion to work with children and help them learn and grow in a fun and supportive childcare environment than you should consider joining our team.A Magic Kingdom Daycare is a locally owned and operated daycare for the past 47 years. <br><br>We are seeking a warm and caring person as a 3-4 yr old daycare Teacher/ Teacher’s assistant!</p><p> Must be passionate about working with young children and possesses the ability to facilitate learning through play and child-initiated interests. Candidate will be working with preschoolers of varying ages in a daycare setting.</p><p><strong><br>Pay rate for this position: $17.00 / hr - $20.00 /hr</strong></p><p><strong><br>The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.</strong></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>401 K</li><li>Vacation and sick time</li><li>Discounts for childcare</li><li>Training and ongoing educational opportunities</li></ul><p> </p><p>Preschool Daycare Teacher?Teacher Assistant</p><ul><li>Help carry out and oversee the daily lessons/activities/play in the classroom.</li><li>Help insure and teach proper health care in regards to toileting, nutrition, physical care and cleaning of the children as necessary, including diaper changing.</li><li>Maintain the ordered arrangement, appearance, and cleanliness of the classroom</li><li>Communicate with parents regarding information concerning their child and their daily activities, and inform the director of any parent concerns</li><li>Attend staff meetings, trainings and conferences as needed.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Associates Degree in ECE, child development or a related field or an Infant/Toddler CDA is helpful</li><li>At least one year of daycare experience as a teacher and/or assistant in an infant or toddler classroom</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of NYS child care regulations</li><li>Must be able to get on the floor and play with infants and toddlers as well as lift up to 45 pounds</li><li>Must be a sensitive mature person who is able to relate well to both children and adults</li><li>Must be willing to be flexible and helpful as your skills may be needed on occasion in a different classroom.</li></ul><p>At A Magic Kingdom, we celebrate everyone's unique strengths and talents in an active and dynamic daycare environment.
