The specialty job board www.workability.one is owned and operated by workability LLC, which is a social enterprise focused on advocating for and supporting employment opportunities for neurodiverse, autism and disabled job seekers worldwide.

Nearly 20% of the U.S. population lives with a disability, and this cuts across race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation. Even more startling is that 85% of college-educated autistic adults are either underemployed or unemployed.

Founded in May 2021 by the mom of two neurodiverse teen boys, the site was developed to level the playing field for job seekers living with a disability. "One of the greatest barriers in the job search process is concern around disclosing a disability," said Sheila Jordan, founder and Managing Director of workability LLC. "workability relieves anxiety around these barriers for both the job seekers and the employers, because disability disclosure has already taken place through the job board itself."
