<p><strong>Diesel Mechanic Wanted!</strong></p><p>Onsite at Arnoff Moving &amp; Storage located in Poughkeepsie NY. FULL Time!</p><p>Arnoff Is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to work out of our Poughkeepsie, NY shop. Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in diesel repair and service for heavy trucks, light trucks, automotive, small engines, refrigeration, welding, &amp; hydraulics.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for the thorough and efficient repair/maintenance of company trucks, tractor trailers, automobiles, &amp; other heavy equipment to support the operational needs of the company.</li><li>Full Time 40+ hours per week with a 6:30am start time.</li><li>The primary duty of this role is to ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for the A-Team!</li><li>Ability to perform a Federal Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspection.</li><li>Must be able to perform vehicle diagnostics.</li><li>Willingness to work as part of a team of solely depending upon the task at hand.</li><li>Responsible for keeping supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; and/or verifying receipt.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to lift 50lbs at times.</li><li>Basic hand tools.</li><li>Ability to work from 6:30am – 3:30pm Monday-Friday.</li><li>Valid CDL license is preferred.</li><li>NYS Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspectors License.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years working as a fleet mechanic is preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>PTO/sick time.</li><li>Arnoff is a profit-sharing company.</li><li>Career advancement opportunities.</li></ul>
