Come grow your career - See what opportunities await today! </em> </p><div><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY:</u></strong> </div><div>A Technician performs operational duties relating to the following lines: CAT, Cummins, and mechanical fuel systems as well as turbocharger rebuilding. Responsible to complete the disassembly, inspection, and rebuild process in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards set by the company. The employee will successfully learn the proper techniques of rebuilding diesel fuel injection components; the reassembly of subassemblies for pumps, and basic assembly of fuel injection pumps by manufactures requirements; the calibration and testing of specified fuel injection pumps with the designated test equipment according to the original equipment manufacturers recommendations. The employee will support the direction and policies of the facility and the overall company. The employee will work with the Branch Manager, salespeople, office personnel and technicians to improve the facilities production capabilities and efficiency, and support the Parts Department as needed. </div><div> </div><div><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong> </div><div>A high-caliber Technician will be knowledgeable and efficient in the operation and use of testing equipment, specialty tools, reading measuring devices and use of shop equipment. Must have sufficient knowledge and understanding of diesel engine components as well as electrical and mechanical fuel injection systems. Good communicator. Team oriented. Good customer service. Works well with others. Needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have very good time management skills. </div><div> </div><div><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> </div><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree (A.A.) or Equivalent from a college or technical school preferred.</li><li>Two plus years’ experience in Diesel Engine Repair Field or equivalent education required.</li><li>Must be team-oriented, a good communicator, and provide excellent customer service.</li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must have excellent time-management skills.</li><li>Must have desire to approach training and education as life-long process. Self-motivated.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong> </div><div>Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
