<div><p>Kaiva Tech,&nbsp;LLC is seeking an&nbsp;<strong>Organizational Communication Expert</strong></p><p><strong>Workplace Type</strong>:&nbsp;Hybrid (1 day onsite, 4 days telework), subject to change based on mission requirements</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong>:</p><p>The MAC/MP Internal Communications team requires the assistance of an embedded organizational communication expert to assist in writing and maintaining strategic internal communications plans for the near and long-term. The Internal Comms team has several aspects of a communications plan for PPT in progress but lacks the strategic communications expertise to timely craft a communications strategy that incorporates ongoing and proposed transformational changes.</p><p><strong>Deliverables:</strong></p><ul><li>A strategic internal communications plan for the next 1-2 years that incorporates change management, employee experience, and employee engagement into a cohesive approach to communicating within Passport Services.</li><li>A similar plan for years 3-5 that also addresses anticipated systems and operational changes.</li></ul><p><strong>Parameters of work:</strong></p><p>The incumbent would work full-time as a member of the MAC/MP team and would be eligible to perform the duties via telework. Location of work is negotiable but must attend periodic meetings held in DC or other locations. Working hours must have significant overlap with the office's standard working hours of 8am-4:45pm EST. The term of the contract would be a minimum of 6 months and up to 2 years.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Attend all Internal Communications team meetings and other meetings as directed.</li><li>Assess the current state of PPT communications and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Provide recommendations on Department of State and/or federal government approved communication platforms that could fill gaps identified.</li><li>Advise the internal communications team on industry standards for communication frequency, modalities, and style.</li><li>Review proposed messaging and provide recommendations on language, tone, and/or strategically impactful timing and format.</li><li>Draft the PPT Communications Strategy in coordination with the internal communications team and deliver to the MAC/MP Division Chief.</li><li>Participate in briefings on the communications strategy.</li></ul><p><br><br><br></p><p><em>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
