As a driving instructor, you are running your own business or working with a driving school, so excellent customer service will help you retain students and build a reputation. This includes being approachable, understanding, and professional.

Key criteria:
Full UK Driving License
You must have held a full UK driving license (or an approved foreign license) for at least three years.
Clean Driving Record
You cannot have been banned from driving in the last five years and should have no more than five penalty points on your license. This ensures that you are a safe and responsible driver yourself, a key factor when teaching others.
