<p>We are looking for full-time <strong>in-office</strong> (40 hours per week) Consumer Loan Officer Trainee (CLOT) to add to our team.&nbsp;</p><p>We are a successful 60+ year old company, with multiple locations, that provides credit to a broad range of qualified consumers.&nbsp; We have long term relationships with our customers and our dealers by extending credit with fast friendly service and integrity assured.&nbsp;</p><p>The Consumer Loan Officer Trainee (CLOT) is a non-exempt employee that performs customer service and collection duties, investigates, and develops credit applications, works to obtain discretionary credit approval for the origination of direct consumer loans and the purchase of retail installment contracts, while providing other support as needed for branch operations. The Consumer Loan Officer Trainee is a key learning role as part of our Credit Officer development program.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>College degree preferred. May consider 2+ years of industry experience, and a combination of education, related experience and/or training.</li><li>Two or more years’ experience working directly with customers. Excellent verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability and desire to learn, effective credit underwriting, including approval, denial and counteroffer of originating direct consumer loans and purchasing retail installment contracts from primary automobile dealers.</li><li>Must be willing to authorize and pass a criminal and credit background check.</li></ul><p>If you enjoy working with people in a fast paced, call-center environment, are motivated and excited to learn while contributing to customer satisfaction and business results you could be a great fit for our growing company.
