<p>The <a rel="nofollow" href="https://bfbcoop.com/" >Bedford Farm Bureau Co-op Association</a>, Bedford, PA, offers feed, fertilizer, agronomy, and retail services to farmers and the local community. Established in 1942, the Cooperative is a cornerstone in the local agricultural community and is fully owned by Cooperative members. With four locations and approximately 45 employees, the team of talented, long-term employees daily strives to fulfill the mission of excellent service and quality products. Each year, the Cooperative continues to grow and remains dedicated to providing members with the resources, products, and services they need to succeed in their farming operations.</p><p>The Bedford Farm Bureau Co-op is seeking to hire a full-time General Manager to lead internal operations and advance current service offerings. In partnership with the Board of Directors, the General Manager will advance and implement the strategic plan while also casting future direction and vision for the Cooperative. Additionally, the General Manager will manage day-to-day operations, provide hands-on leadership to employees, champion culture, and streamline processes for efficiency and success. The ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with the Cooperative’s mission and goals is essential to the role. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to build relationships and enjoy influencing team members to achieve success.</p><p><strong>General Manager position qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of leading a cohesive team in a multi-location organization</li><li>Demonstrated financial acumen including oversight of budgets, financial statements, and fiscal management</li><li>Previous experience within the agriculture industry</li><li>A bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience</li><li>Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite, required; A hunger for utilizing new technology, a plus</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Please submit resume and cover letter: </strong>www.NorthGroupConsultants.com/jobs<strong>&nbsp; </strong></p>
