TRELLISWARE’S HISTORY

TrellisWare Technologies was founded in the year 2000 by four innovators in the areas of signal processing and advanced communications. The co-founders spun off the company from Viasat, Inc. to pursue terrestrial applications of technology that combined foundations in signal processing innovation with the ability to productize these ideas for the real world in the commercial sector. TrellisWare continues to work with academia, industry, government, and commercial research labs to solve the most difficult problems by transforming cutting-edge theory into practical solutions.

TrellisWare’s technological history includes signal processing, commercial IP licensing, product prototyping, free space optics, networking waveforms, high frequency radio, interference mitigation, special processing, and more. The results lead to worldwide commercial applications of TrellisWare’s technology to solve communications challenges When Nothing Else Works™.

BREAKING BARRIERS IN RESILIENT COMMUNICATIONS

TrellisWare’s technology facilitates mission critical voice and data delivery in the most severe conditions. The result is an exceptionally robust, flat network that provides unprecedented scalability and supports hundreds of nodes while using less spectrum than any other Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) technology. The TrellisWare TSM® waveform is incorporated into a wide range of systems, including TrellisWare radios and trusted industry partner radios, as well as multiple government and commercial solutions. TrellisWare’s next-generation Katana™ waveform is the newest resilient narrowband waveform designed to operate in highly contested radio frequency (RF) communication environments.
