Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist (Philippines Candidates Only, please)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end bookkeeping and finance processes for over 20 clients. Your expertise in process improvement, onboarding, and clean-up will be crucial in ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Compensation:

$6,000 - $7,200

Responsibilities:

Accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment. College degree required
A proficiency in cloud accounting technologies with at least 2 years running payroll, paying bills, and handling all day-to-day transactional duties with clients in multiple industries (2+ years in QBO, Bill.com, Gusto or other payroll software, etc.)
Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients with an awareness of what needs to be prioritized
Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members across digital channels and an innate desire to build relationships
Humility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improve
Keen attention to detail and obsession with making sure there is accuracy, integrity, and dependability in their work
Joy and a positive attitude in all communications internally and externally
Persistence and an ability to politely remind others to stay on track

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in running payroll, closing monthly books, and creating processes for both cash and accrual-basis clients.
At least 2 years of experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, Gusto, and similar platforms.
Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles.
Experience working in a CPA firm or public accounting is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
