<p>We seek a highly motivated and dedicated CPA with a proactive approach to accounting. The ideal candidate is flexible, energetic, and excels under pressure while effectively prioritizing their workload.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fixed Asset Management:</strong> Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, recording entries and calculating depreciation through Deltek – CostPoint 8.1.</li><li><strong>Account Reconciliations:</strong> Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and reconciliations for prepaid expenses, assets, and liabilities to ensure accurate and auditable general ledger information.</li><li><strong>Financial Statement Review:</strong> Analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and consolidated financial reports, ensuring compliance with externally required disclosures.</li><li><strong>Statement Preparation:</strong> Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</li><li><strong>Monthly Closings:</strong> Compile, review, and record financial information in the general ledger, complete monthly closings, and effectively communicate results to management.</li><li><strong>Audit Support:</strong> Collaborate on interim and year-end audit requirements, conducting necessary research and reconciliations.</li><li><strong>Cash Management:</strong> Reconcile cash accounts and manage daily cash reporting duties.</li><li><strong>Chart of Accounts Maintenance:</strong> Oversee maintenance of the chart of accounts in Deltek – CostPoint 8.1.</li><li><strong>Rate Processing:</strong> Handle monthly indirect rates, pools, and service center allocation processing.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education & Certification:</strong> Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 10+ years of accounting/finance experience with a deep understanding of GAAP, FASB, JTR, and FAR.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Mandatory experience with Deltek, Costpoint Accounting Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Cognos Impromptu Reports, and payroll systems (ADP). Strong knowledge of federal and state accounting laws is essential.</li></ul>
