Mechanical Engineer - Robotics/EE Scope: Strong understanding of materials and manual/machine fabrication processes.
Solid understanding of available automation components and vendors.
Knowledgeable with relevant safety, industrial, and institutional standards & experience designing systems that comply with the standards.
Has the ability to develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs
experience solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage projects using engineering principles/techniques
Experience producing detailed specs & design docs to build/operate the equipment it represents.
Able to review production of prototype designs & recommend modifications following operational test results.
Required: Experience with one or more of the following: SolidWorks, Pro-E, NX , Catia, or Autocad
Experience with the following servos, stepper motors, drive, bearings, industrial robots, pneumatics, PLCs.
Through experience with modeling & PLM/PDM experience in industrial automation, robotics.
Solid machine design & build aptitude focused on electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with design for manufacturing.
Experience with electrical Panel and system design which are compliant with relevant standards.
Pluses: Solidworks Electrical, Autocad Electrical
PLC, Python, C++ Programming
