What you’ll achieve
As an Advisory Solutions Architect, you will provide pre-sales technical consulting and support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services. The Solutions Architect role is the technical representative for the Dell Technologies' portfolio. Working with the Account Executive, the Solutions Architect owns and architects' end-to-end enterprise technology solutions that deliver customer business outcomes.
You will:
- Spend 50% of your time in building, communicating, and selling an account technology plan which includes future state architectures, leads with workloads and outcomes, solutions that capture share in all major categories including new growth use cases with AI & Edge, tactical initiatives, achievements and business relevant technology solutions.
- Research and communicate technology, industry & market trends and mentor customers (across the Technology, Consumer & Business organizations in your account) on their applications using the full Dell Technologies portfolio.
- Be resilient and agile in staying ahead of the market and competition.
- Sell the value of the Dell solution to the customer in a such a way that they see Dell as a unique technology partner imperative to their success, which then motivates customer to not price match and we continue to attain our margin goals.

Essential Requirements
- 12+ years of field sales experience or related experience in a relationship selling role with a bachelor’s degree.
- Possess a combination of technical expertise with an ability to deliver high-impact presentations and business/financial acumen which deliver tangible results for clients.
- Experienced in conducting needs analysis to understand requirements and project scope.
- Proficient in verifying the operability of sophisticated product and service configurations within a customer's environment.
- Able to deliver high-impact presentations at customer facilities.
Desirable Requirements
- Proven track record of being a self-starter with a leadership skillset for mentoring junior sales engineers.
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $226,100-$336,600 which includes base salary and commissions.
