Job Specifics

Duties include outpatient primary care, and nursery/inpatient call.
Hospital is located across the street from the clinic.
Cohesive, well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely.
The Hospital has a level II nursery & 430 births per year.
Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet.
Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support.
Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients
Opportunity to work with medical students and residents
34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days, plus rotating evening clinic hours
Job Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician
Children's hospital based residency preferred
Should be comfortable working with an economically varied population
Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
