Shop employees and mechanics are responsible for maintaining our fleet of equipment which includes passenger trucks and heavy equipment.
- perform regular and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- adhere to inspection procedures and checklists
- maintain detailed service records, daily work logs, work orders, and repair requests
- help maintain parts inventory
- help ensure cleanliness of the shop
- replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, braking, and hydraulic systems
- run diagnositc tests and analyze results to determine functionality problems
- assemble mechanical components according to specifications
- offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to users
- design plan of action for all assigned maintenance and repair tasks
Hourly rate to be discussed during interview.

- must be at least 18 years of age
- in-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
- strong attention to detail
- aptitude for problem-solving
- good interpersonal skills
- good communication skills
- strong organization skills
- proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
- valid driver's license with good record (this will be verified by HR)
- CDL (class A or B) and current medical card a plus
- ASE Diesel Certification a plus
- advanced knowledge of diesel engine components a plus
- good IT skills advantageous
