As a Hospitalist Medicine Physician, you will focus on managing the care of hospitalized adult patients. Your responsibilities will include performing daily rounds on 18-22 patients and managing 5-10 daily admissions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. This position does not involve rounding in the ICU, allowing you to concentrate solely on general inpatient care. Timely and accurate documentation is essential, and you will communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients' families to ensure continuity of care.
The facility has 280 beds, with 5-10 daily admissions and 18-22 patients per day to round on. There is no requirement for ICU rounding, offering a focused and manageable workload.
Qualifications: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
