Excel Services, Inc. is looking for experienced SENIOR HVAC Foremen to join our growing team. Excel Services, Inc. has been recognized as a leading design-build contractor with "multiple disciplines under one roof" serving commercial, industrial and institutional customers in the Greater Louisville / Southern Indiana market for several years now. Position Summary
- The Senior HVAC Foreman provides directions and oversees a team of journeymen and apprentices to execute projects primarily on new construction for commercial spaces on time while demonstrating the company's core values.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience as a running work being lead on a project
- Journeyman license certification in Kentucky
- Possession of valid driver's license with a good record of driving
- 6-8 years commercial HVAC installation experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge of building plans/ drawings
- Well versed in OSHA safety requirements
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of the International Mechanical Code (IMC), National Fuel and Gas Code (NFGC), OSHA guidelines, and safe work practices
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipment and components
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team
- Ability to work on weekends, at night, or to work overtime as required
