James & James is currently accepting applications for Dock Associate in our Springdale, AR shop. This is a logistical role to support operations.

General responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments while being able to safely and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs or more.
Efficiently distributes and stocks all packages received.
Accurately checks in and completes all required paperwork associated with freight and deliveries.
Operate equipment necessary for safe and efficient completion of assigned duties. This includes but is not limited to; licensed to operate a forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Communicates and interacts with truck and delivery drivers, vendors, and co-workers professionally and productively ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Performs all required safety and inspection checks on forklift and pallet jacks maintaining proper logs and documentation.
Accurately stocks inventory in designated locations.
Assists in the loading of local orders either with designated company or customers.
Performs regular dock audits ensuring accuracy.
Create and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Basic computer skills including the ability to learn and successfully use applications.
Perform other duties as requested or needed to support the team environment.
